I have always enjoyed taking pictures but never considered making a career out of it. Until after I got out of the Marine Corps. I suffer from PTSD and regular therapy wasn't working. Years later, my therapist suggested art therapy and asked me what hobbies I had. I mentioned photography and the rest is history so to speak! I spent the next few years taking pictures and just getting out in nature. It helped with my anxiety (almost like meditation) and opened my eyes to the beauty of the earth. Fast forward to two years ago when I got an internship with the City of Phoenix in the Mayor's office. That opened up so many more avenues for me and people started asking me about my pictures. It was then that I realized that I needed to share my art with others. If my journey helps one person, then I will be happy. Join me, won't you?
I am surrounded by natural beauty and interesting people so I use my camera to document the world. These images focus on the magic I find in daily life. My pictures tell my stories.
